Ceiling-Mount Automotive HVAC Evaporators
The overhead location of ceiling-mount evaporators allows cooled air to flow freely downward and disperse evenly throughout the cabin space. It also allows placement of the air intake directly into the space needing cooling, keeping in mind that you don’t “make cool” you remove heat. This configuration is particularly beneficial for larger or longer vehicles where standard front-mounted HVAC systems might not reach all areas of the cabin.
